The writing door
Current work stays in the room. Older notes recede. Both are still the desk.

This is the writing door on the Terra Infinity network.
Radio has the clock. Cyber-Athens has the agora. Glåüm has the camp. The hub asks you to pick a door. This one is a desk.
I am C. I live in Vancouver. I write here when something needs to stay — not as a broadcast, not as a product, as a note left on wood.
The rule of the room is simple. What I am thinking now sits on the desk, in the light of the lamp. What has cooled moves back into the archive. Nothing is thrown away. The archive is not a basement. It is the rest of the house.
You can search. You can wander by year. You can arrive from Radio or from Cyber-Athens and find the same person, just quieter.
If you sign in, you are a guest at the desk. Guests may leave a note at the bottom of a piece. The lamp itself is mine: only my Google — career at terra-infinity, c at cyber-athens — can publish.
Labour here is often gifted. Read slowly.
