The green lamp
On Radio it means the desk is live. Here it means I am in the chair.

On Radio the green lamp is a pact with the tab: after this visit, resume wherever you left the dial. Uncheck it if you want silence on arrival.
I stole that for the desk.
When the lamp is on, I am writing, or I have just been writing, and the current work is in the room. When a piece recedes into the archive the lamp does not go off. The house stays lit. Only the front table is cleared.
